Hello All!

After having the privilege of serving as Interim Vice-Principal at Emerson Junior High for the second half of the 2019-2020 school year, I am humbly honored and excited to have earned the position as your full-time Vice-Principal and to be officially welcomed into the Emerson team and family.

When I first started at Emerson in January, I was instantly welcomed by the staff and students without hesitation.  Everyone was so kind and helpful and made me feel totally at ease with my new environment.  I was so grateful and happy to spend my time getting to know teachers and students and building our relationships, and I am proud to have earned your trust and support as one of your leaders.

As we all look forward to the days where we will all be on campus together again, I am looking forward to meeting and engaging with parents and working together to keep our students healthy, happy, safe and learning.  Until that time, I have no doubt that we will work hard to provide stability and growth through distance learning.

 

As I strive to meet each student where they are in their own personal situations, it is always my intention to actively work to make their life better, not only in academics but in every aspect.  It has always been my main mission to lead with empathy, honesty, and consistency.  With such a caring, talented, and professional staff, I am looking forward to working with teachers and support staff to facilitate how best we can serve our students.

 

Being a lifetime Davis community resident, educator, coach, parent, and student-athlete, I am thrilled to be trusted in the important role as your Vice Principal at Emerson!
